Steel Orchid Returns and Shipping Policy
Fairness is our goal.
Towards that end, we offer a 30 day return policy for any product that is still sealed (can be resold in sealed condition).
We cover the cost of outbound shipping on the way to you and that amount will be deducted from the amount refunded for standard returns.
- Contact The Steel Orchid within 30 days of your purchase to receive a return authorization number.
- Customer may provide their own return label, or you may request one from The Steel Orchid.
- Upon receipt of the ruturn, the product will be inspected for condition, and if it is sealed, new, a refund will be issued, less the original outbound shipping, and less the cost of the return label if provided by The Steel Orchid (you may request this option when initating a return).
Returns after 30 days, regrettably, will not be accepted.
Return Process for Defective Items
If the product that you recieved is defective or damaged, you may, at our discretion, be issued a full refund, or asked to return the product and issued a refund upon inspection and confirmation. Customer will NOT be charged for shipping on defective orders.
We expect our customers to play fair, and if a return was initiated for a reason of “defective”, and, in fact, upon receipt, it is clear that the product was either damaged by the customer, or is in perfect condition, we reserve the right to withhold the costs of 2 way shipping, as well as the cost of the product if it had been rendered unsellable by the customer (Yes, that includes shipping back your old $40 vinyl mattress in the box of the $215 Bluebird -… we know who you are…)
The Steel Orchid will ship out all orders free shipping to the lower 48 states. There is no minimum order to qualify. For orders to Alaska and Hawaii, please reach out for a freight quote. Alternatively, most of our products are also sold on Amazon.com and many times, Amazon is able to ship the product on our behalf even to Alaska and Hawaii. Just be in touch and we will do our best to acomodate where possible.
All Great Lakes orders qualify for an automatic upgrade to free 2 day shipping. And for Great Lakes products, this will include Alaska and Hawaii. This offer applies to all single, double or triple pack (or combination of up to 3 cannisters).
